Statistics: Russia’s industrial output rises 0.9% in February
MOSCOW, Mar 17 (PRIME) -- Russia’s industrial output increased 0.9% on the year and 3% on the month in February, the first increase since January 2015, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a statement on Thursday.
Excluding seasonal factors, Russia’s industrial output went up 0.1% on the month, down from a 0.9% growth in January.
In February, mineral resource output rose 5.8% on the year, the processing industry sagged 1%, electricity, gas and water production remained flat. In January–February, mineral resource output went up 2.8% on the year, the processing industry fell 3.2%, electricity, gas and water production increased 1.3%.
